Monday 12-9-24, I took care of all the paperwork necessary to legally enter Mexico. The Marina takes care of filling out all the proper forms and driving you to the port/customs and Banjercito office. In my opinion the service that the marina provided is invaluable. Unless you understand the process and are fluent in Spanish you (I) would be lost and a two hour process could turn into a day or more trying to navigate the bureaucracy.

I left Ensenada this morning, motored up to Marina Coral for fuel and headed out for Puerto Santo Tomas, an anchorage about 25 NM south of Ensenada, where I anchored at about 1530. Like most of these small bays, there's some protection from the wind but they are pretty rolly from the ocean swell and I was tossed around a fair amount but not enough to keep me up all night.

Tomorrow I'm heading to my next anchorage but where I stop will be determined by the wind.
