Inner Basin is an approximately 4 mile long tidal basin that is beautiful but has limited protected anchorages. I motored to the head of the bay but due to shoaling that went from less that 10 feet to almost 100 in what seemed to be about 2 boat lengths is was not a viable place to anchor. We found a small cove to port just off the narrow entrance to the Basin where we anchored with a stern tie and was able to watch the super fast current as the tide went from low to high tide and back again.
