As with many places I've visited and anchored and places yet to be discovered, there was some reluctance to leave Walters Cove with its towering cedars and friendly people, but it was time to find another anchorage and new place to explore.

We Left Walters cove and had a pleasant motor sail to Queen Cove in Esperanza Inlet about 23 NM south in the next set of Sounds, bays, and Inlets to explore.

Queen Cove was a lovely quiet anchorage, but be careful as the head of the cove shoals very rapidly going from 20 to 10 to6/7 feet which is a bit disconcerting when you draft over 6 feet. We anchored in about 30 feet with a good holding mud bottom and spent a relaxing night.
