Good morning,

I motored all day yesterday and through the night. Wind was light but reefed the main in case something changed during the night. I also rolled up the jib as it was flailing around. No sense adding wear to a sail that's not doing any work.

It's about 0900, it seems my gamble may have paid off. About 0500 the wind was light, less than ten kts, but consistent. At 0630 I shut down the engine and unrolled the jib. I'm sailing at 2 1/2 to 3 kts in wind between 8 and 10 kts.

In case you were wondering, I had a nice cup of coffee as the sun rose then oatmeal with cranberries for breakfast.

About 0830 I partially unrolled the genoa and rolled up the jib. Winds are still in the 9 to 11 KT range but I'm sailing at a bit over 3 kts with 9 kts wind and pushing 4 kts when the wind reaches 12 kts.

Mostly clear skies with scattered cumulous clouds and not a squall in sight 🤞.
