The ocean is confused today, all bluster, big waves and whitecaps!
But today it's not as powerful, the ocean, the powerful, the controller of men's destiny, is softer, not as commanding, not as ferocious.
The sea still sends its reminders, the periodic crash of water over the bow, the wave that rolls and rocks the boat, but its heart isn't in it.
I will miss the impressiveness of the ocean and know this is just a brief respite.
