There's two things I miss, okay there's a lot of things I miss but that's gonna have to wait.

The wind has been in the high teens all day with a few sustained gusts over 20 knots. With the higher wind the seas have been building all day. Waves are 8 to 12 feet with a few crashing into the boat and sending a cascade of water and spray into the cockpit.

It is an impressive sight to see a wall of water coming at you, and feel the boat roll on her side a little, then ride up over the top of the wave.

And there's a beautiful full, or almost full moon tonight

So, back to a couple of things I miss , maybe not so much miss, but something the waves reminded me of. My friend David White and Big Wave Beer. David is an amazing sailor and Big Wave is a pretty good beer 🍺 and I was fond of calling David "Big Wave Dave"
