The wind is down this morning, though it's cloudy which doesn't help my solar gain.
It was a long night, with winds in the mid 20s and gusts over 30. Not sure exactly the gust speed but I have a high wind alarm set for 30 kts and it went off a lot during the night.
I was trying to sleep on the settee in the cabin, when the boat lurched, I assume from a wave, and I got tossed on to the floor . I instinctively put my arm up and my forearm slammed into the table and I woke up half upside down on the floor, thinking "that's gonna hurt for a few days"
Oh well! At least Fairtide is sailing along and doesn't seem at all worried about last night's SNAFU.
