It's Thursday in Eureka, I had a great conversation with Lee Youngblood, a good and long time friend. Lee via text introduced me, via text/email to Phillip Thibodeau who's boat is based on Eureka. Phillip, called me from Paris to discuss the issues I was having. We had a wonderful conversation. It is truly amazing how the sailing community is ready to help each other, even from as far away as Paris. Phillip is a member of the Humboldt Yacht Club in Eureka and offered names of a few folks that might be able to help or let me know what resources are available. Which led to meeting some fantastic people. More on that later.

i have repair parts for the reefing system on order, in the meantime I'm going to replace all the DC fuse holders which will hopefully give me at least another 20 years on that system.
