I'm docked at the Morro Bay Yacht Club.

There was virtually no wind yesterday for the passage from Monterey Bay to here, but fortunately the ocean swell was mild 1 to 3 ft. which made having to motor for almost 20 hours somewhat bearable.

The Orionid meteor shower was supposed to be peaking last night but the moon was so bright I didn't see any shooting stars.

The linear dock at the Yacht Club is not huge, as of this afternoon there's Fairtide and a 45 ft Hunter and we take up 90 % of the dock space but I'm happy to have a nice place to stay for a few days until my next weather window.

Everyone from the yacht club I've met so far is really nice and helpful. Embarcadero Street is touristy but fun to walk past all the shops. Next hurdle will be in rounding PT Conception on my way to Santa Barbara another 100 NM south.
