I arrived in Bodega Bay on Friday morning and briefly anchored in the bay waiting for the fog to lift. Finally I was able to head in to the Spud Point Marina in the early afternoon, where I've been tied up for the last couple of days.
It's Sunday, evening, the boat is ready and I have a good weather window to head out tomorrow morning for Monterey Bay about 120 nm south. There's a couple of places to grab a bite to eat right at the head of the dock. Yesterday I went for a walk in the rain then stopped for lunch where I had an excellent clam chowder and a crab sandwich. Today is a stunning day warm with sun and clear skies. After a couple mile walk I stopped for fish tacos and a beer for lunch.
Retied the dinghy , checked lines and rigging and ready to leave in the morning.
Adios for now.
