I reluctantly left Bacchante Bay to start making my way towards Tofino. First stop was the Ahousat General Store where I picked up a few provisions. next stop was West Whitepine Cove. This is a pleasant anchorage that I shared with one other sailboat. the Cove is actually un-named but referred to in the Cruising Guides as West Whitepine Cove as it is slightly west of the actual Whitepine Cove. Anchoring in the north part of the Cove in about 40 ft with a mud bottom I was nearer the entrance tucked in behind Islands designated as 94Mt, 67Mt, and 31Mt which I think "MT" stands for Meters, but I have no idea how those numbers relate to the actual island. Other than a slight hum from the generators at a nearby fish farm that was barely audible to my old ears, I had a secure and peaceful night.

Tomorrow it's off to Tofino.
