We left Blankensop Bay at 0630 to take advantage of the current push north and made good time heading to Double Bay on Hanson Island. WaterLou arrived before me and anchored, but when I arrived we felt she was a bit too close to shore to be able to swing on her anchor safely so I anchored in another area about 100 yards away with the plan that WaterLou would raft up to Fairtide. Neptune was having no part of making it easy though. WaterLou snagged an old fishing net and almost couldn't weigh her anchor. Finally Karl was able to cut the net free and motor over the few hundred feet and raft up to Fairtide. It's been a mix of sun and rain and significantly cooler today but it was nice to get in and be anchored by about 1230 allowing for some much needed down time. As I sit in the cockpit on Fairtide I can hear Karl snoring over on WaterLou.
