There was a light wind at 5 to 10 kts so tacking out of Nuchalitz Inlet after leaving Inner Basin headed for Nuchalitz Provincial Park was tedious but it was sailing. Once finally getting past Fitz Island and a large rock about 3/4 nm to the west I was able to turn down wind and had a lovely sail with genoa and main even through the reefs off the park. We anchored in a small bay with a stern tie and had a pleasant uneventful night.
