Leaving Bazett Island I decided to go to the head of Pipestem Inlet, a 4 nm trip. Again I am in awe of the sheer rock faces that surround these inlets.

The head of Pipestem is has a creek that feeds into it, but like most other heads of inlets you are in very deep water that shoals quite rapidly. Since anchoring was not an option, I didn't explore the creek.

Today is a lucky day because I found another waterfall as well as seeing another black bear.

Leaving Pipestem I'm off to Useless Inlet to discover another secluded anchorage.
