I woke to low clouds and some fog that cleared early. Today's adventure is to take the dinghy across Pipestem Inlet and up Lucky Creek to the waterfall at the hear of the creek.

It is recommended that you only go up the creek from about an hour before to an hour after high tide and it is advice well taken as the creek is quite rocky and even at high tide there are shallow areas an submerged rocks and you have to be cautious and on the lookout.

Arriving at the head of the Creek the waterfall pops out as you round the last bend. off to the side is a small pool where the water eddies and I was able to sit slowly floating around just a few feet from the falls.

Waterfalls hold a special attraction for me. in 2018 on my journey to Alaska on Subira, my previous boat, I saw dozens of waterfalls, some where I could nose right up to them in Subira, Magical!

Leaving the Lucky Creek Falls I slowly rowed back down the creek toward Pipestem Inlet until the sound of the falls had disappeared behind me. I motored back across the Inlet and dinghy'd around Bazett Island and an abandoned float house as well as the rest of the Bay.

It was another perfect day on this remarkable trip I am on.
